Injury rules Scott Mann out of Michelin Junior Development Class at Super X

An injury sustained at the Campbelltown round of Super X will unfortunately see Scott Mann ruled out of competing at the remaining two rounds of the Michelin Junior Development Class.

Competing in his first Supercross series, the multiple-Australian Junior Motocross Champion will be sidelined from competing in the remaining rounds due to a fracture in his foot.

GMR Motorex KTM Team Manager Glenn Macdonald said “I am really disappointed for Scott because I know how driven and determined he was to get on the podium for an overall. I support the decision to sit out the remaining two rounds as Super X, particularly for those new to the Supercross scene, need to be at their best not only for their safety but also for everyone out on the track.”

Scott Mann claimed second at the 2011 Australian Junior Motocross Championships in the 15 years 100-150cc class and third overall in the 250F category. Mann will now move up into the senior ranks for 2012 and beyond, focusing on the u19’s Motocross Championship next season.
