GMR Motorex KTM racer Egan Mastin wins at Nowra Masters

Young-gun Egan Mastin has continued his recent good form, taking the win at the Nowra Masters with a clean sweep in the 85cc class on 22 May 2011.

A little bad luck in the Junior Lites class, racing the KTM150SX two-stroke saw Egan Mastin collect 4th place.
“I picked up three race wins on the 85 today,’ said Mastin ‘so I am pretty happy with that. I had a couple of crashes in the Junior lites, but I still managed 4th overall.”

Team Manager Glenn Macdonald said “Egan has once again proved his good form on the 85cc taking the win at the Nowra Masters, after his recent clean sweep at the NSW State Championships.”

“He also put on an impressive performance in the Junior Lites, clocking the fastest lap time in the two of three races. At just 13 years of age, this rider has some excellent speed against his older competitiors.”

Egan will continue training and attending local events in his preparation for round two of the NSW Motocross Championships scheduled for 11 & 12 June at his home track at Maitland.
