GMR Motorex KTM racer Dylan Long continues his domination of Super X Series

The Super X, Michelin Development Series made its way to Parramatta on 27 November 2010, and Dylan Long yet again proved he is a dominant force.

Dylan has now won all four rounds of the Michelin Development Series in 2010, with one round remaining in Brisbane on 4 December.

“I had an up and down event at Parramatta’ said Long. “We had bike troubles early in the day which caused me to case my bike on the down ramp of a triple. I was really lucky to have saved not only myself but the bike as well. I was only able to complete one lap of practice which meant I had to be on my game for the heat race to make sure I was on the gate for the final.”

“We did a lot of work during the break and got the bike 100% and headed into the final. I was in second behind Jackson Richardson and made the pass into the lead on the second lap and took the chequers with bit of a gap over second place.  I was pretty stoked with how the night finished up.”

“We have the final round next weekend at Brisbane so I am hoping we can bring home another number one plate!”

Team Manager Glenn Macdonald said “Dylan put in another amazing performance despite the mechanical issues we faced and the limited track time as a result. He put in some incredible lap times in the final and has put a 24 point buffer on second place in the series.”

“We have the fifth and final round of the Michelin Development Series at the Super X finale at Brisbane next weekend, so we need to make sure Dylan stays fit, healthy and on his game as another number one plate for his mantle will come down to this final race in a week’s time.”
