GMR Motorex KTM racer Dylan Long takes his third round win of Super X Series

Dylan Long has maintained his momentum in the Super X Michelin Development Series, taking the third round win at Launceston on the weekend.

Launceston turned on an exciting and well prepared track, with the weather holding off just long enough for the junior racing.

“I am stoked to take another round win of Super X’ said Long. ‘The Launceston track was awesome and I had a lot of fun racing on this track.’

“My starts were strong at this event and I got through the qualifying and heats really well. In the final I got a great start and just rode smart, having a bit of fun along the way with a couple of whips off the massive jumps.’

“We have a few weeks off until we race again at the Parramatta round, so I head back home now where I will keep up with the training.”

Team Manager Glenn Macdonald was not able to attend the event but said “We were really lucky that the weather held off which allowed for some really good racing at Launceston.’

“Dylan put in yet another amazing performance. He was the fastest qualifier then he took the win in his heat and followed that with a holeshot, leading from start to finish in his final.’

“We have another two rounds left of the series at Parramatta and Brisbane so we are planning on keeping focus with the aim to bring home the series win.”
