Dylan Long continues Super x winning streak at Canberra

GMR Motorex KTM racer Dylan Long has struck again, continuing his winning form in the Michelin Development Series class at round two of Super X held at Canberra on the weekend.

Long won the opening round of the series at Newcastle and has now taken the win in round two which gives his a 12 point lead in the series.

“I am so pumped to take the win at Canberra’ said Long. ‘The conditions were pretty sketchy because it rained during the afternoon, but I just paced myself and kept it on two wheels.”

“I got a good jump off the gate in the final and was sitting in about 4th position out of turn one. I chipped away at the riders in front and took the lead with a couple of laps to go to take the win.’

“I am looking forward to Launceston next week and hopefully we get another podium.”

“It was great to be here and see Dylan take another win’ said Team Manager Glenn Macdonald. ‘Dylan is usually a pretty relaxed guy but to see him give a fist pump across the finish and the smile beaming from under his helmet was awesome.”

“The series now moves to Launceston for round three next weekend and we are hoping to maintain his momentum for another solid result.”
