Australian Junior Nationals kick-off for GMR Motorex KTM racers

GMR Motorex KTM junior racers kicked off to a strong start on day one of the Australian Junior Motocross Championships at Wanneroo in Western Australia.

GMR Motorex KTM featured in six Championship classes at the event and clocked up some excellent lap times during the practice sessions. Each rider lined up for two practice sessions for each class they contest allowing them plenty of opportunity to dial into the sandy circuit.

Highlights of the day included Dobson’s form and lap times in the 9-u12 years 85cc class which were really strong. Berwick, Duncanson and Baldwin took 1-2-3 in the first practice draw in the first round for the 13-14 years 125cc class, with Berwick and Duncanson backing it up with 1-2 again in the second session. Reed was on song with the fastest lap time in the first round of the 15 years 125cc practice while Duncanson and Berwick took 1-2 in both 13-14 years 250F practice sessions.

Team Manager Glenn Macdonald was pleased with the opening day “The whole day ran exceptionally well, everyone is happy and eager for the gates to drop on race one tomorrow morning and I am confident that the boys will be at the pointy end of the field.”

Stay tuned to for first round race results.
