Junior Nationals countdown for GMR Motorex KTM


In just a few short days, the GMR Motorex KTM junior racers will face one of their toughest battles at the Australian Junior Motocross Championships.

The week long event at the challenging Wanneroo circuit in Western Australia kicks off with practice sessions on Monday 29 September and winds up on Friday 3 October with newly crowned junior champions.

The preparation for GMR Motorex KTM has been flawless with the riders heading into the event with an incredible 4 state championships under their belt in the 85cc, 125cc and 250F capacities. All team members have been training on deep sand circuits to replicate the intensity and fitness required to be successful at Wanneroo and are now completing final testing sessions.

The five rider team will pilot 9 KTM machines in 6 classes during the event so it will be a hectic and no doubt exciting five days of racing. A highlight will be the 13-14 years 125cc class which will see a three-pronged attack from Baldwin, Berwick and Duncanson – all in the one class.

The GMR Motorex KTM rider list and classes are as follows:

Jesse Dobson: 9-11 years 85cc
Joben Baldwin: 12-13 years 85cc & 13-14 years 125cc
Dylan Berwick: 13-14 years 125cc & 13-14 years 250F
Sam Duncanson: 13-14 years 125cc & 13-14 years 250F
Jason Reed: 15 years 125cc and 250F
