GMR Motorex KTM racers strike again and win three State Championships

It has been an exciting day for the GMR Motorex KTM Racing Team with another three State Championships under our belt.

GMR Motorex KTM contested the final rounds of both the Victorian Senior Motocross Championships at Barabool as well as the NSW Junior Motocross Championships at Cessnock on 23 August.

Kristy Gillespie sealed her second Victorian Women’s Championship and topped off an amazing year with KTM. The current Australian Women’s Champion took the win in race one at Barabool earlier this morning which secured her enough points to take the title.

Meanwhile at Cessnock, Sam Duncanson picked up 1-1-2 race results to secure the round win. The awesome results also cemented the Championship for Duncanson in the 13-14 years 125cc class.

Jason Reed also dominated in the 15 years 125cc class with three convincing race wins to take the top spot for the round. Reed took 9 wins from 9 starts for the series and a deserving Championship win.

Duncanson and Reed will both return to Cessnock on Sunday 24 August to contest the 13-14 years and 15 years 250F classes. Both riders are in the running for another two Championships with Duncanson sitting on equal points with Dylan Gosling in the younger age group while Reed leads the 15 years class.

Stay tuned to for more race results.
