Team members will compete in age groups ranging from 10 to 15 years on board the 85 SX, 125 SX and 250 SX-F, all class leading motorcycles that have taken many riders to the top of the podium in 2007.

The team’s first competition under the new GMR Motorex KTM banner will be at the four round National Summer of Supercross Championship, commencing on January 26 at Tooridan in Victoria, this series also extends to NSW and QLD.

Confident of many podium victories for his team members, race team manager Glenn Macdonald said, “Coaching and mentoring riders is a real passion of mine and I have worked with many past and current State and National Champions to know what is required.

“The combination of my management, coaching skills and race experience is a really powerful weapon which allows me to give back to the sport.

“The GMR Motorex KTM junior racing team has so many great riders, and I admire each of them for the different levels of racing they have achieved. My goal is to teach them that an ideal rider is one who gives 100 percent, who believes in themselves and is prepared to do the hard yards to the best of their ability, whilst always being friendly and helpful to fellow riders and spectators.”
