Jason Reed continues his winning streak in AMCROSS series

Maitland motocross rider, Jason Reed has continued his winning streak for GMR Motorex KTM Junior Racing with another victory in the AMCROSS series, which saw round two take to Cooma in NSW last weekend.

After attending the Motocross Advanced Coaching Academy two-day school at the Maffra-Sale complex in Victoria, Reed took a five hour drive back to his home state to compete in the round.

Reed entered both the 13-16 years 125cc class plus the 13-16 years 250 four stroke class winning each class convincingly.

The top three place holders in the 125cc class were Jason Reed 1st, Dan Wilson 2nd and Errol Willis 3rd. In the 250F class it was Jason Reed 1st, Bradley Partridge 2nd and Bradley Machett 3rd.

GMR Motorex KTM, Junior Race Team Manager, Glenn Macdonald comments on Jason Reed’s performance, “Reed took three straight wins in each class and cemented his dominance on the series. His KTM 125 SX was untouchable as he took three straight holeshots and rode home for the win in each. Although he didn’t holeshot as consistently on his KTM 250F, the speed of his machine and his smart line choices got him to the front of the pack nice and early and he beat the field home by around 10-15 seconds in each moto.

“I have received awesome feedback from Reed’s riding at the event, with people just blown away by his speed at the moment, so hopefully that’s a good sign of things to come.

“As a team manager, I couldn’t be any happier and the effort being put in by Reed and his family is a reflection of his results.”

Jason Reed will next compete at the Keith Allen Open in Cessnock on 12 & 13 April.
