GMR Motorex KTM factory racer Jason Reed leads National Off-Road Championship

19-03-08

The opening two rounds of the Australian Off-Road Championship were held at Port Macquarie on 15 & 16 March 2008 and GMR Motorex KTM rider Jason Reed took to the enduro style format with ease and now stands in the Championship lead for the Junior Lites class.

The GMR Motorex KTM young gun was privileged to pit in the Motorex KTM seniors camp, came home with a win in the 13-15 years class, on board the KTM 125 SX.   Reed won the junior racing by 35 seconds on day one, and by 23 seconds on day two, giving him the outright lead for juniors in the Championship.  Second went to Benjamin Burrell and third Rhyce Ahola.

“The tracks were pretty good but really rocky, I just tried to stay on two wheels and show the enduro boys that the MX boys can ride the bush! Overall both days were awesome. I rode my KTM 125cc two-stroke on the first day which was a lot of fun and then I rode my four-stroke on day two which gave me heaps of variety in my riding.” said Jason after the event.
