Norton claims series lead at Victorian Junior MX Championship
Round two of the Victorian Junior Motocross Championships converged on the State Motorcycle Complex at Broadford on 12 & 13 May 2012 and saw Callum Norton return to winning form at the Championship, claiming the win at the event and the series points lead.
Norton headed into the 2012 series as defending Champion on board the 85 small-wheel and is keen to secure back-to-back number one plates. A third place at round one was not the start to the series he had hoped for and was aiming to stand at the top of the podium to secure the series lead after round two at Broadford.
“I really wanted to get the round win at Broadford’ said Norton “I crashed in race one and finished second but in the next two I nailed the starts and made sure I led from start to finish. I really want that number one again this year but it might be a close battle.”... more>>
